SEAS-ERA WP4 (Infrastructures) presented at EU Atlantic Forum (Cork, 4 March 2013)

SEAS-ERA partner Jean-François Masset (IFREMER) presented the directory of Atlantic Marine Research Infrastructures, compiled as part of WP4, to the EU Atlantic Forum Workshop Marine Research and Innovation in Cork on 4 March. The Atlantic Fora Workshops, a series of 5 Regional Workshops (Horta, Brest, Bilbao, Cardiff, Cork), are designed to inform the EU Strategy for the Atlantic (EUSA) Action Plan (2013-2020) identifying key research and investment needs to promote Blue Growth in the region. Geoffrey O'Sullivan (Marine Institute) who chaired the R&I Workshop said that the SEAS-ERA contribution, identifying the major marine research infrastructures in the region, represented an important reference document that would prove invaluable in planning and implementing an Atlantic Action Plan.
