As part of their engagement with EMB, the Young Ambassadors are invited to attend a 2-day training workshop organized by the Secretariat. On 15-16 June 2023, Juliette Biquet, Alfredo Vinuesa de Garcia, Alexandra Hahn and Riwan Leroux were at the EMB offices in Ostend, Belgium, to attend this workshop. The workshop included detailed discussions about EMB and its activities, the European Marine Science Policy Landscape and EMB's part in it, and plans for upcoming EMB Young Ambassador activities, especially the EMB ECOP Network Forum. The ambassadors also received an interactive training session on how to communicate in an engaging way to improve their soft skills. You can find the agenda of the workshop here.
It was great to meet the two new ambassadors Riwan and Alexandra, and to meet Juliette and Alfredo again. Thank you to the Ambassadors for their engagement and making this an interesting, fruitful and inspiring workshop!
